The 6th Man

Welly well well here I am again. Aren't you lucky.

I just recently returned from Meet the Team and I had a decently enjoyable time. Now, don't get me wrong, but it's not because I had a good time watching all the teams, coaches, assistants, trainers, cheerleaders, squad leaders, captains, co-captains, water boys and what-have-you introduced.. it was mostly making fun of people with the people in the band. That's just a good time. It's like, half the fun of Meet the Team.
Wait, no. I take that back. It's all the fun of Meet the Team. There are no other amounts of fun, liquid or dry, Metric or American, involved whatsoever with this shindig.
I don't even think it deserves the title of shindig.
Well let's see for sure.
From The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, Fourth Edition Copyright © 2000 by Houghton Mifflin Company.
shindig: shin-dig (n)A festive party, often with dancing. Also called shindy.
So there you have it. The very topic is up for debate, although my argument would be that it is indeed NOT a shindig; it's more like a...stupid thing where all I do is sit on the hard Gym floor and have by bum and most of my other appendages fall asleep.
It's great fun. That's why I'd like to say JOIN THE BAND and finally get the experience of having all of your appendages fall asleep during a 45-minute session of listening to boring principals, teachers and coaches talk about stuff.
Actually Coach Bahen hit some good points... I enjoyed his speech.
