I know I already said this

but I'll say it again. I wish there could be just one day where I go to band and the members actually are interested in what is going on. If they could just see how hard it is to try to run a practice with 20+ people talking and carrying on conversations that have absolutely nothing to do with anything and/or playing or making noise when they are CLEARLY not supposed to be doing these things.. I suppose people think that there is an unlimited amount of time for band practice, that they can just do whatever they want and it'll magically get done. Well, no. It really doesnt'w ork like that. If it did, we wouldn't have practices all the time. We would just have 1 practice the day before the concert, sit down, play it PERFECTLY one time, and go home.

Well gee we need to get out of the "Walgreens" sort of mood, where everything is perfect and we dont need to work at all, and dig deep and really actually WORK. Work is the only thing that gets stuff done; that and prayer, of which I need to do more of! lol... both of them.
.. which reminds me, even God said that we can't just pray that something will turn out the way we want it.. I'm sure that it certainly helps that we pray but we have to do something about it and not just sit back and expect that God will wave his hand and everything will be better. We need to get up offa our duffs and do soemthing that is worthwhile instead of depending on OTHER people to do it for us..............

AAAANyway, al that stuff up there is important, but my point is something I think everyone can take and use for their own lives:

Sometimes, we need to just sit back and relax instead of being high-strung and hyped up on crap. Listen more, gab less. Like Miss C says (I take this from amanda's blog lol): "God gave us 2 ears, and 1 mouth; meaning we should listen twice as much as we talk. Don't ruin the design!"
