I'm getting even closer...

...to exploding more and more each day. Crazy stuff happens. You get over it. It's not that big of a deal when you think about the grand scheme of everything.

Matt's post in his xanga thingadoo opened my eyes to what really should happen and what shouldn't go on.... stress is dumb, don't give a hoot about it unless it's important to you. If it's not important, you shouldn't get stressed about it! HA! How simple is that. (yeah right)

Anyway, we just won our 2nd playoff game.... I should be happy, but from what I've been saying all week, I actually kinda don't care.... which actually agrees with what I've been saying all week: I don't want to continue in playoffs. Yeah, that's right.. It's amazing how I go through all of this season with a git-go attitude about band and how we should be the best we could be (army? lol) and then at the end-ish part sluff it off like nothing else. If anything, I think I should be even MORE energized and stuff, because it doesn't matter how I feel, it's how the team feels; for example if I feel like I want to lose, it's not up to me. Kinda like that whole "grand scheme" I rambled about above. It's not all about me. HA that's a new thing.

But anyway, yeah. This is probably the first post of some substance and possible commentable stuf in it for quite some time. I think I just built it all up in the past weeks and let it out here.. that's probably what this is for anyway so I used it for what it was for. Well yay for that.

Where was I going with this???? Hard to tell........................... mind is a-everywhere.

AHA! I remember..

We need to get a new show for playoffs. It's getting "awful" old real fast, having to decide each week which show to do... either #1 Ray Charles, #2 College (EEEWWW NO), #3 Broadway, or #4 Senior. Then again we could always do the homecoming show again. Just stand in a little arc with a giant part in the middle and play a sappy song for 20 minutes. HAH everyone would hate us. Mr. Gossett could just read from the phone book for a while. THen he colud talk about whatever he wanted.... maybe comment on the people in the stands... "oh that man has a very dashing hat on tonight, maybe he wants to lend it to me! ho ho ho..... And it appears that the band has died due to lack of oxygen because they've been playing this song too long. Oh well! That's how it happens."

I'm sure we wouldn't die, but after a while it might feel nice lol. .. no I'm sure it wouldn't.

It'd be nice to have a big band so that there would be more than 1 persont o fall back on in case you need to wipe your spit or empty spit valve or readjust whatever. That way sound won't be lost if everyone else is playing... but of cousre people would go overboard and not play at all, which is what Creek does. They absolutely sicken me... if they would just all play and do everything as a unit there would be absolutely no doubting that htey would be a bette rband than us. If they had the energy and musicianship we have they would be an awesome band to be in and even watch. But, sadly, that's not the case.

THat's like the band we faced tonight; they had i think 50ish people, but there were likle little tiny kids that had no idea what they were doing, then they had like 7-8 olda kids that played trumpet and lead them. The drum major was cool though, the twirly-twirly baton was a little gayish... oh well. it was cool.

Ok I think that's enough rambling for tonight. Hopefully all you bajillions of people that read this followed it to an extent. Maybe my friend Matthew will come from the dark corner of the internet and read this cuz I posted on his Xanga... twice!

Arrivederce!
