So there's this character on The Next Generation called Guinan (played by Whoopi Goldberg). Great character - she's from a species of listeners.
We should try to listen more. If all we did was listen, there'd be a lot less babble in the world, no?
And, after we achieve that, we could add UNDERSTANDING to our act of listening. If we hear AND comprehend, or listen AND sing, then we could really achieve more (brace yourself, bad word coming:) tolerance (told you) of our fellow man (woman, child).
Yep.
The only problem is where opinions come in. Lol. Then everyone's screwed.
