Solfege-ing

Hola, bienvenidos.

So now into the 5th week of classes, excluding the 1st week of band camp. I can say now without a doubt that this semester is at least 100x easier than anything last semester. So much less stress, let me tell you..... It's great. Still busy as hell though, which is to be expected.

Jazz is going well; trying to incorporate all kinds of new people is fun because you get to learn WITH them, instead of at them... In marching band, it's more of a "every man for himself" whereas jazz is a lot more of a musical sense of learning, as well as face/musculature development so it works out pretty well.

Speaking of marching band.... we got pregame done on TUESDAY of band camp, not sure if I mentioned that before - it's never been done here. It's sort of mind-boggling, really, to see how much time is wasted when there is insufficient prior planning. That's something I would LOVE to change... I could start planning right now. In fact that wouldn't be a terrible idea. lol hmmmmmm................

Anyway. I'm gonna be semi-productive this morning.
