Back in ... School

Again. Yep. Back at the ol' computer lab. We're doing a "do nothing but finish" day so I'm in here typing like everyone else. The only thing different about what I'm doing compared to what everyone else is doing is that I'm having fun typing. HA they're doing an assignment whilst I type in mon blog. Some very studious people went to their lockers to get books but I said "screw that" and stayed here.

Won two games of solitaire that way. Yep. That's how it's done.

Annnyway. ... Ms Ravasio is freaking out because she's upset about the size of the Spring Concert band.. I'm not surprised. There's less than we had for christmas as of right now and let me tell you.. (whoever you are) that's already not a big number.

So far, the count is under 20 people. Which means if we don't get at least 20, there is no spring concert. Without a spring concert, she would be violating her contract agreement to put on a spring and christmas concert. Which means she would get fired, probably.

UNLESS she goes to Mr. Rose and says "Look, we just don't have the interest in the kids and the will to do it so there is no way we can put on a concert, let alone a good one," then we're done for.

The same thing will probably happen to the Marching band my senior year, but we'll have probably close to 40 but they'll all have a 0 in the experience factor so you really can't count that as being the same we are now. If we just took out the juniors for one day of performances, we would probably suck at all of them.

But! I'm an optimist. I have to look at the bright side......... Bright side = Smaller band is less performances..? Because if we suck then people wont' want to hear a small band so then we don't have to do as much!!

I mean heck we rocked all sox this year; thus the invitation to be FUS's Basketball pep band or whatever the heck we were supposed to do. We actually had to turn it down because we had so much other stuff we were invited to. I just wish we would've gone to that Florida thing last year.... people wanted to go to Semi SOOOOO bad... and it's like, OK I see the senior's reasoning for not wanting to go, but everyone else could've gone! ALthough if we did go without the seniors, we wouldn't have been as good. That's okay... the biggest band can be big without us.

I guess.
