AAHHH OH WAIT

It just came back! Grood.

Soo yesterday at choir practice (the last one, mind you for the adults) Fr. Jim came up after we were done witha song and announced that he hired a choir director and organist for the 8:30 mass... I was kinda shocked but he told me before that he didn't "doubt my abilities" but still it's a surprise to me that he didn't say anything personal to Mrs. Maul who has been here for a VERY long time playing the organ. Then again she hasn't really directed, per se, as in teaching them to sing parts and such... I guess this new gal will have to do. Apparently she's very "learned" in choir direction so we'll see what happens. I hope she's good

and nice.

BUT MY MAIN RANT IS: I CAN DO IT JUST AS WELL AS SHE CAN (probably)! I mean I don't want to sound arrogant but really.. Fr. Jim ahs been complaining about budget and monetary values since he's got here and now he's going to hire someone! I haven't been paid since.... last easter when I helped decorate on a whim.. (aactually he told me he needed help, so whim is an overstatement) but the last time I was PAID PAID was when Fr. Bill was here and I got a card of thanks and a $25 JCPenny gift card. I never used it, but still it's the thought that counts.

AND! If I can't do it as well as she can, then what the hell: let her take over. That's what she's for.

And if I just said that, then why go through the trouble of proving myself? I don't have to prove anytyhing to anyone. So there. :P
